Shenna's Top 10 Future Ex Husbands List

About 10 years ago I started calling Justin Timberlake my future ex husband why? Who knows, but it stuck. I mean it's pretty obvious that the chances of me ever marrying him is like next to NEVER, but in my fantasy world (in my head) EVERY and ANYTHING is possible. Now if you know me, you know that I have an insatiable appetite for the opposite sex, and thus, I am always on the prowl for the next future ex Mr. Shenna. So with the encouragement of my friend Romancia (@romancialove) I give you my top 10 list of my future ex husbands.

10. Chuck Bass
The Bass is new to the list. His upper east side pompous attitude gives me EVERYTHING I'VE EVER WANTED AND MORE (what can I say, I have a thing for massive douche lords)!!! All I can really say about him is... He's Chuck Bass!

9. Zach Roerig/Matty/Peeta
I made a poem about this dude and his eyes so blue. So glad he's still around on The Vampire Diaries for my, I mean our viewing pleasure. He "seems" so sweet, and well look at him! He's got that All American thing going on for him.

8. Chace Crawford
Maybe it's because he bares a striking resemblance to ex #3, or maybe it's because he looks like the kind of dude that would let me braid his hair ( I'm also totes into dudes who would let me braid their hair). Whichever the case, dude has that unattainable high school jock crush worthy thing going on for him.

7. Tom Cruise
Ah, Mr. Cruise. We have had a long journey together. You were my first love. My only love. I used to refer to myself as Mrs. Shenna Cruise, do you remember that? Of course you don't because that was totes in my fantasy land. Aside from his Oprah antics, and his marriage to Joey from Dawson's Creek *coughs*, he'll always be on my list. You had me at Legend.

6. Brad Pitt
YESSSS LOUIS!!! You are the first person who I wanted to become my maker. You have like 30 kids now and that is why you are number 6 on my list (Shenna and kids just don't mix quite yet). I think I maybe in love with your girlfriend/baby momma sooooooo, 3some? Haha just kidding *coughs*.

5. Gerard Butler
OH. MY. 300. ABS! How could I not have this man on my list?! His accent alone get's him a V.I.P. access  straight to my Victoria's Secret. And his arms, HARRY FREAKIN' POTTER TAKE ME NOW!

4. Johnny Depp
No matter if you're Jack, Edward, Gilbert, Wonka, or the Madd Hatter, you know you all can get it! I can't even express how talented this guy is. I have NEVER seen a Depp moving I haven't liked.

3. Ian Somerhalder
Hard choice to put you all the way at 3, but your 2 predecessors and I have a much longer history. You Mr. with those "take me" eyes of yours, are the epitome of sexy, not for obvious reasons, but because you are a do-gooder. You actually care about things outside of your celebrity realm. You have the most sincere and beautiful aura about you (I know because I met him, and though briefly, I could feel it). Your laugh melts me into a puddle of wonder twin nothingness. You, Sir, are awesome. Thank you!

2. Justin Timberlake
17 freaking years I have been crushing on this guy! I've had to battle through the Britney years, and the cutting off of the hair. I even stayed beside you when you used to wear those horrid bandannas. I've seen you in concert many times, and have yet to meet you. I feel like we are already married under common law, so when do I get my ring Mr. Timberlake?

1. Harry Potter
Yes, ladies and gents, Harry J. Potter is my numero uno future ex husband. I know, I know, I'm a bit of a cougar, but I love him *tear*. And because our Potter ride is coming to an end next year, I had to put him first. POTTER NOOOOO!!!

So that's it. That's my list. Who's on your list?

Ian Somerhalder Fans Take NOLA By Storm

This past Saturday, November 13, 2010, St. Tammany Humane Society held their first annual Unleashed Bash on the Bayou charity event in Louisiana. Although I wasn't able to attend personally (unless you count being there in spirit), my very dear friend and partner in crime Romancia (@romancialove) was able to give fans all around the world the best seats in the house all from the comforts of their homes via USTREAM live.

Attendees of this event were able to mix and mingle with none other than Mr. Ian Somerhalder himself. Yes, go ahead and fan yourselves if you need to. And as if that wasn't great enough in itself, about 40 generous people who donated $1,000 each were granted exclusive access to a champagne reception where they were able to get even more up close and personal with Ian. Mr. Somerhalder was gracious enough to come up to Romancia's computer that she had set up with USTREAM to tell all of his fans hello, and yes, there was a kiss blown. *dies at the thought* I admittedly did not catch it at first because I was busy moderating the USTREAM chat itself, but when I saw the video, OMP (oh my Potter)!!

During the main event Vaughn, the Executive Director of St. Tammany, introduced Ruthie (@tvdfansonline), to present the AH-MAZE-ING amount of money that you, the fans donated to Natalie's (@xVampDiariesx) Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project. The expression on Ian's face said it all, his fans are THE BEST!

The sole purpose for this event was to raise money so that St. Tammany Humane can continue to help the abandoned animals that they bring to their shelter. Please check out their site www.sttammanyhumanesociety.org  to learn more about this amazing organization.

I have included some pictures and video courtesy of Romancia so be sure to check them out below. I know all that attended had one of the best days of their lives, and I can't wait to join you all next year at the 2nd annual Unleashed Bash on the Bayou November 12, 2011!!!

And do keep an eye out for more information on this event.

A Million Zillion Thanks To Sounds Under Radio

Earlier today I was handed a package by the mailman, and the very first thing that I noticed written at top left corner was, Sounds Under Radio. I got a little jiggy with it after I had the package in my hand, and decided not to open it until I could give it the proper attention as I was headed out to visit a friend in the hospital Needless to say when I finally returned back home I immediately opened up the envelope and took in all of its contents. The AH-MAZING members of Sounds Under Radio, Lang, Bradley, Sonny, and Doug had sent me not only an autographed copy of their CD Cinematica, but I also recieved an autographed poster, ANNNNND A FREAKIN' HAND WRITTEN MESSAGE IN A CARD!!!! You guys have NO idea how much I adore handwritten personalized messages.

I couldn't thank the guys enough which, I've probably tweeted them thank you's worth a lifetime, but again, THANK YOU LANG, BRADLEY, SONNY, AND DOUG SOOOOOO MUCH! A MILLION ZILLION TIMES OVER! And please if you are reading this check them out. I don't go out of my way to recommend bands or anything for that matter very often, but I PROMISE YOU you won't regret it.

Why I Rock

Last night I watched the Black Girls Rock awards ceremony on BET and I was so inspired by the messages that were given on the show that I decided to post about it (obvs since you are reading this).

The 1 thing that really stood out to me was when they showed clips of celebrities explaining why they rocked, and it got me thinking... why do I rock?

I rock because I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid to feel, to love, and be loved. I'm not afraid of opinions, and naysayers. To laugh when nobody else is laughing. To smile when everything around me feels so chaotic. I'm not afraid to stand up for myself and for what I believe in. To dream, wish, and cry because sometimes you just need to let it all out. I rock because I like many other women, didn't always feel so confident in my skin, but I can say now without a doubt, that I LOVE ME FOR ME!

So I guess you now know the reasons behind my Twitter handle, Eyemjusme66, and what I would like to know from you is, Why do you rock? No matter your skin color.

No Trash At The Bash

For the past couple of days some of my fellow Tweeters and I have been trying to help @romanicalove find the perfect semi-formal dress to wear to the St. Tammany's Unleashed "Bash on the Bayou" event hosted by Ian Somerhalder.

As people started sending in links for dresses it became apparent very early on that some of our taste levels were better suited for those street walking professionals out there.

I think even the most liberal Lady of the Night would blush at the site of this dress at a semi-formal event.

Just when we thought that the above was the worst choice, we were hit with a life sized chiffon table napkin that was made into a "dress".

And this thing below. What is it? I'll tell you what it is, it's hideous! And whoever is allowing this thing to be sold in their stores should live forever in lace and ruffle hell!!! *shudders*

I gave Romancia advice on what colors were better suited for her skin tone and blue being one of them, she decides she should go out dressed like a figure skater imitating a cloud, or The Little Mermaids natural habitat.

Now we get down to the nitty gritty. Romancia needs your help in deciding which out of these 7 dresses below would be best suited for the event next Saturday? Look on the sidebar and click on your choice. She will be revealing her choice via Twitter the night of the event so make sure you are following her at @romancialove if you want to see the outcome.

Nina Dobrev Short And Sweet AP Interview

Just a few minutes ago, Nina Dobrev, one of the stars of the hit CW television series The Vampire Diaries was interviewed by a "fan" and reporter for the Associated Press on a live stream for all of our viewing pleasure. I jotted down some things that she said, but particularly liked the one below on Katherine. I will say that when Nina mentioned trying grits, it just might have made my day!

On reasons why Katherine is the awesome mega BITCH that she is: "She Looks out for number 1, and it's only her. Next episode will explain why Katherine is the Selfish individual that she is."

*make sure you tune in tonight for an all new Vampire Diaries episode "Rose" @ 8est*

Long overdue, but well worth the wait, I give you Life Not So Fab's first ever Fabulous Fashionista Spotlight!

Name:Tecarra King
Age:25 years old
Location: Miami,Florida
Contact info: Tecarra@gmail.com

Fashion has been my love since I can remember. From my youthful days of planning backyard fashion shows at the age of 9, to currently doing fashion blogging and assistant styling. I love that fashion is ever changing and a way to express yourself. I love bright hues, simple patterns and bold prints. I die for that one of a kind vintage piece that makes your heart skip a beat. Shoes are that must have; by any means necessary. Fashion is my first LOVE and will always be.

Rain Dance

26. Dance In The Rain

When it rains, do you find yourself running from the rain or, do you embrace it? These are the very questions I asked myself while I was coming up with number 26 on my Life List (Bucket List).

All of my life, I've been taught by society, friends, and by family that rain is something you hide from. "Why would you want to be wet?" "It will ruin your hairdo!" "You'll get sick!" Other than the eventual uncomfortable wet feeling afterward, rain really isn't something to be feared.

Being the woman that I am, I decided to challenge myself against all of the naysayers of rain, and not only go out and get wet in the rain, but dance in it, drink it, laugh in it, and ultimately sing in it.

When the PERFECT opportunity presented itself a month and a half ago, I walked out the door, raised my hands to the sky and started twirling. Eventually I started laughing in pure jubilation with the sun shining down on my face. And then I opened my mouth to taste the rain which doesn't taste like anything at all. I sing... "the hills are alive with the sound of music..." (I had a Julie Andrews moment). The rain started to come down heavily and I felt like maybe I was having a moment with the Gods or Mother Nature herself so I started dancing. I truly felt like I was transported into another time. When I had enough; when I felt that number 26 had been fulfilled as best as it could, I stopped and just stood there. I was back. I walked back into the house, grabbed a towel and took a shower.

I realize as I'm becoming more educated on living a natural lifestyle, I'm starting to see the world with new eyes. Everything I thought that was wrong, out of the norm, or weird (can you believe me thinking something is weird? yeah, I know!) has become so deliciously right.  I don't normally ask people to take my advice because hey, it's your life to live and I certainly or anyone for that matter can't tell you how to live it, but if all you ever do in your life is take the time out to stop what you're doing and go out and dance in the rain, I promise you, it will be so worth it.
